Three steps
- 1
Export
Save your customer list as a CSV file from your current app. Up to 5,000 rows at a time.
- 2
Upload and match
Choose the file in Customers → Import. Crewmano matches the columns for you; check them and fix anything it missed.
- 3
Review and import
A preview shows exactly what will come in. Customers already in Crewmano aren't added twice.
Getting the file from your old app
Menu names can differ a little between versions.
- JobberClients → More actions → Export to CSV.
- Housecall ProCustomers → Export (download the customer list).
- ServiceM8Clients → Export clients.
- QuickBooksSales → Customers → Export to Excel, then save as CSV.
- Excel or Google SheetsFile → Save as / Download → CSV.
After your customers are in
Bring your price list

Switching questions
What comes over in the import?
Customers with their names, company, emails, phone numbers, language and notes, and their service addresses with access notes. Jobs and invoices from your old app stay there; start new work in Crewmano.
What if a customer is already in Crewmano?
They aren't added twice. The import tells you how many were already there.
Can I run both apps for a while?
Yes. Start on Solo Free, bring a few customers over and move the rest when you're ready.
Can I take my data out again?
Yes, any time, as CSV files. See the comparison for how Crewmano stacks up.
